The team at Clutch.io, a program that allows developers to perform A/B testing on iOS mobile apps, announced Monday that they would be joining Twitter to help scale Twitter’s products, and eventually closing down operations at Clutch.io.

On their site, they explained the move and what will happen to existing Clutch.io apps:

We know that there are many of you who love the Clutch Framework and Clutch A/B Testing, and you may be wondering: what happens to my apps?  We’re happy to announce that over the coming weeks we will make available everything you need to run Clutch.io on your own servers, so that even after our hosted service is no longer running, you can continue to operate it on your own.

The company noted that it will be leaving its products “active and supported” until November 1, and that “all of our libraries are designed to fail gracefully…
